Beautiful vertical pan cel of Meier Link, being tempted by his object of desire, Charlotte Elbourne. Out of love, he refuses to turn her into a creature of the night and resists drinking from her neck. Their love is one that is mutual and consensual yet doomed. Ironically, if he had taken the opportunity to turn her into a vampire at this moment, she would not have died shortly afterwards. But their love was an eternal paradigm, chaste and iconic.
