Sabrina the Teenage Witch was an animated series which aired from 1971 to 1974 on CBS. It was a spin off from The Archie Show and centered around the adventures of half-witch/half-mortal teenager Sabrina Spellman. She is the daughter of warlock Edward Spellman and mortal Diana. The Sabrina character was created by writer George Gladir and artist Dan DeCarlo in 1962. Sabrina made regular appearances from 1969 to 1985 in Archie's TV Laugh-Out comic series. Sabrina received her own comic series which ran from 1971 to 1983, with 77 issues. She has appeared in her own live-action sitcom, another animated series and contemporary manga mini-series.
