Prince Ludwig Von Monsterstein Eccentro, or Count Ludwig Presto Von Meinstein Collection, depending on the version you watch. The principal villain, a young effeminate aristocrat from Europe who wants to take over Mon World. Not much a threat due to his eccentric behavior and hysterical persona at times. In the English versions, he was a "time traveler from the twelfth century." In the original version, he was a homosexual with a flare for fashion.
Mon Colle Knights (Monster Collection Knights), known as Rokumon Tengai Mon Colle Knight in Japan, is an anime and manga series. The original concept was made by Hitoshi Yasuda and Group SNE. The Japanese version aired on TV Tokyo. The Saban-produced Mon Colle Knights aired on FOX in North America from July 2001 to September 2002. The manga, written by Satoru Akahori and Katsumi Hasegawa and drawn by Hideaki Nishikawa, is published in English in Singapore by Chuang Yi.
The series features Mondo Ooya and his friend Rockna Hiiragi who collect monster items and fight the evil Prince Eccentro (Count Collection in the Japanese version) on Mon World. Mondo, Rockna and Professor Hiiragi (Rockna's dad) want to use the monster items for the purpose of opening the gates to Monworld so the monsters and humans can live together in peace. However, Eccentro wants to take over both worlds for his own evil purposes. The show is somewhat known for its fairly clever puns, odd references and strange dialogue.
